I arrived safely in South Africa Saturday, August 15, after saying goodbye to Dad and Mom in Atlanta. I am now on board the Mercy Ship for this adventure in missions.
I have already met so many people from diverse backgrounds and places of the world, and everyone has been very welcoming and helpful. A lot of the crew were surprised that someone so young is working on board (I may be the youngest crew member!) But I'm ready to begin training for my job on the ship and looking forward to learning a lot and helping fulfill the mission of bringing hope and healing to the poor!
